Danville Area Community College Softball team secured their spot in the NJCAA Division II National tournament this year. In the first round of the NJCAA Tournament Danville took on Cowley County on Wednesday May 17^th, but fell short 8-10. Later they played in the first round of the consolation bracket against Oakland, but were unsuccessful losing 10-5 and were eliminated from the tournament.
