Congratulations goes out to former Parkland College golfer Michael Davan who won the Springfield Ohio Open Qualifier, qualifying him for the 2015 US Open June 15-21 in Washington. Davan shot 8-under par (65-67) to win the 36 hole event by a stroke.  He is one of four individuals, including Illini golfer Nick Hardy, who advance from the Springfield event.  Davan played at PC from 2007-2009 where he was twice named the Male Athlete of the Year.
