The MWAC coaches recently voted on its All-Conference Awards for the 2015-16 season and Lincoln Land Community College's Eddie Longmeyer was voted the 2016 MWAC Player of the Year.  Gabe McKenzie of John Wood Community College was named as the MWAC Freshman of the Year and Anthony Figueroa of Parkland College was named the Coach of the Year.
