Lincoln, IL - Congratulations to women's basketball head coach Carol Wilson on picking up her 500th career win after Monday night's 81-60 victory of MacMurray College JV. Coach Wilson started her coaching career at Brown County High School. At Brown, her team captured 2 conference titles, 2 regional championships and a Sweet Sixteen appearance. Coach Wilson was offered an opportunity at Taylorville High School and accepted the challenge. While at Taylorville, her teams went 114-11, won 4 conference championships, 3 regionals, 2 sectionals and placed runner-up in the IHSA State Tournament in 1997. Coach Wilson was offered the head coach position at Lincoln College in 1998 and was named the co-regional coach of the year for the 2004-2005 season. Coach Wilson will look to add to her win total this weekend when her Lady Lynx play in the Carl Sandburg Classic in Galesburg, IL.
