The Scottsdale Community College Volleyball team fell short in the opening round of the NJCAA DII National Tournament to Heartland Community College. SCC got tripped up in the first set by the score of 25-23, but bounced back and won sets two and three by the scores of 25-16 and 25-21. Heartland then tied the match back up at 2-2 by winning set four by the score of 25-21. SCC battled in the fifth set, but fell short by the final score of 17-15. Scottsdale will still continue in the tournament on the consolation side of the bracket. Scottsdale will take on Mott Community College out of Flint, MI tomorrow at 9:00 AM (AZ Time).
