Heartland Community College Baseball and Softball moved up in the national polls this week! Heartland Baseball, currently riding a 16 game winning streak, has moved to #2 in the NJCAA National rankings. Softball, 23-8 overall and 13-3 in conference play, moved up to #13 in the NJCAA National rankings. This week, Heartland Community College also is celebrating 2 NJCAA National Players of the Week. Tijanne Ross pitched 12 innings with 12 strikeouts and earned 2 victories to win the NJCAA Softball Pitcher of the Week. Charlie Harrigan slugged 1.240, had 8 extra base hits and tallied 16 RBI's to earn him the NJCAA Baseball Player of the Week.
