The Mid West Athletic Conference exists to govern and conduct
championships for the conference's 7 sports. Originated in the mid
1990's (originally known at the Collegiate Conference of Central
Illinois), the conference is composed of 9 Illinois community
colleges competing in a variety of intercollegiate athletic
sports.
